Don't Judge

I got a nook for Christmas. Its the Barnes and Noble version of the Kindle.

At first I was sceptical, but honestly... it's a lot of fun. I'm enjoying it.

On the Barnes and Noble website they have 100 free books for the Nook. You can get on and select which you would like and they will download to your Nook automatically.

Tonight at work I finished my book and went in search of a new one... I remembered the free books and logged in....

I click on the new books and find that easily 90% of them are harlequin romance novels.

Not. My. Usual. Cup. Of. Tea.

However, I decided to "branch out" and wheewww wheee!!

I'm having to monitor myself at work, make sure I'm not breathing hard or making weird noises.... I'm not sure my coworker would enjoy that.

We are locked in a room with each other all night. That might get a bit.... awkward....

However, the last one I read was only 30 pages long. Short and sweet. Well, I'm not sure "sweet" is the word..... but I am enjoying the short story format.

Maybe they will have more "short stories". For some reason those make me feel like I haven't completely fallen off the "respectable literature" cart.

Meat and potatoes

I'm back at counting calories and working out and all that good stuff. Things are going fairly well and I'm feeling great.

When I count calories I try not to deprive myself of anything, I just keep an eye on what I eat and make sure I have a deficit of calories. Sure, I can't eat the whole cow, but if I want a side of cow I can sure have it!!

Well, right now I want THIS.

I don't have it in my calorie budget to have it TONIGHT.... but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going to have it TOMORROW!! I'm going to workout extra hard (to get even more deficit) and budget my calories during this day.

TOMORROW NIGHT THIS SIDE OF COW IS MINE!!

Wow, that actually sounds kind of scary.

Ok, I'm not really psycho. I am just craving red meat! LOL

So, the big news lately?? I have renters for my house. The very first people to walk through it came, loved it, returned with a deposit check within 3 minutes of leaving... and want to move in in THREE WEEKS.

I'm basically freaking out. I have all the repairs done on the house now.
I haven't started packing yet.

First on the list?!?! FIND A NEW HOUSE!!!

I have appointments to go walk through a couple on Wednesday.

I know exactly what I'm looking for. I just need to find it. AND QUICK!!
